It is not free software – software that gives users certain freedoms. It has nothing to do with whether it is commercial or not. Free software can be commercial and in fact I am paying a subscription to a lot of free software packages, to fund their further development.

In Ableton you go to File, Export Audio/Video, Render Track from Master (make sure you have it at the beginning and it’s on arrangement mode), Normalize: On, File Type: Wave, and leave the rest the same. Once it’s rendered send it through an mp3 converter (I use Switch Sound File converter it’s free) there you go!

Nice dude! I just bought the PadKontrol which is an awesome midi controller by the way.. and when tried to install the bundled Abelton Live Lite 6 software that came with it -it rejected the serial number that was on the back of the CD …does anyone out there have a working serial they could spare or know where to get one??? thanks i’d really appreciate it…

Everyone puts up these tutorials but know one ever shows you how to finish the projects. Like turning them into mp3s or WAV files

you know I use to play a lot with video games and did some production with logic, but I cannot handle how much fun I get playing with live and making crazy sounds on it.

Live is awesome!
Especially with a Line 6 Toneport UX2, which happens to come with live.
