    @alizin2008 this is really cool tech, but those of you who may not be aware these are just applications of technology we had back in the 90s and during the peak of the dot-com boom. for example: Cue Cat Anyone?..

  12. dexcover99 July 3rd, 2010 7:19 pm

    @illkontiki
    aim not talking about apps I’m talking about features
    like 3G or the GPS or WIFI
    turning off 3G is like turning off you’re land line phone at night
    turning the GPS off is like having OnStar and not paying for it
    and WIFI well you get the idea.

  16. illkontiki July 3rd, 2010 8:40 pm

    you don’t have to uninstall them to shut them down.
    I mean, do you throw your lights out the window when you want it to be dark? Throw the stereo out when it’s too loud? Nope – you just turn them off (or close them in the case of apps).

    i dunno about this…i work at wal mart and i guy came in there and was pissed cuz we sell TurboTax for $54.96 and his phone scanned it and it came out saying our store had it for $49.99..one thing that is also kinda weird about that too is all wal marts usually end at 96 cents no 99…he gave us so much shit…it seems cool but maybe not 100% right with its information

    Look, the phone has a 3.7v 1150mAh battery, which comes out to 4.255 watt hours. If your phone lasted 4 hours, that means it’s only using 1 watt at FULL POWER with all accessories on. That’s pretty darn efficient. Yes, I suppose HTC could include a bigger battery, but they want it a reasonable size and still need room for the mainboard, flip-up keyboard, and touch screen. We need an improvement in battery technology.

    turn them off when you sleep. do use apps in your sleep? there is actually an app to help battery life. look it up or get a car charger
