    The palm pre is the worst and most laggy phone that I have ever had. I mean I thought that windows mobile sucked but the pre was pure crap. But I think my 3gs is ok but i’m not satisfied. I need that evo!

    @ChrisHoyt also, more I need to find out about is why do all of these different apps HAVE to be closed with task killers, why the heck do they all run if not in use?

    And I’d appreciate any Android fanboys not jumping in acting like I’m dissing the phone, I”m just inquiring

    @ChrisHoyt Yes, the OS is different and that is what I need to get more info on. My daughter has the Samsung Moment and I wanted to add an email address sent into a txt to her contacts. Do you know how annoying it was not being able to slide the contacts card and the messaging card from side to side as I checked to be sure I put the address in correctly. Had to do the whole open close thing. And it wouldn’t let me save the address directly to contacts.

    Dude, I live like 5 minutes away. Gotta show me it.

    @ceez561
    The OS looks better, it looks better, its avaliable on a better carrier and its an apple product meaning its amayzing.

    @tymptme2 Yes the Pre is outdated…plus it runs on a totally different OS…This phone has alot to offer…spec wise…8mp camera with 720p video, 1.3 front camera, 1GHz Snapdragon Processor, kickstand, 4G data with mobile hotspot up to 8 devices….no other phone can touch the Evo…right now..

  9. ceez561 September 11th, 2010 5:56 am

    @silverrider2 what better about it ??? i wanna know…

    Dude, you live like 20 minutes away, I want to come see this thing hands on! Let me know what you think.

    So you have an EVO and you show us this?

  12. tymptme2 September 11th, 2010 7:47 am

    @cool8man I’m with you…the Evo hardware is better, but my Pre hardware is holding up for me. I really like the OS, but want more speed. Do I shell out the $200 plus add ten bucks to my bill? Is my Pre really that obsolete already or can I wait it out until the Evo drops in price?

  13. tymptme2 September 11th, 2010 8:45 am

    @prikrmn01 I’m not sure what you are trying to say…but I know it’s a smart phone and my question was very specific. I have a Pre and want to know if what I was seeing on the video at the :18 second point are small widgets OR cards (similar to like what is on the Pre).

  14. prikrmn01 September 11th, 2010 9:32 am

    @carbonunit do u want to sale it?

  15. prikrmn01 September 11th, 2010 9:48 am

    @tymptme2 its a smartphone multitasking it thr ….. and its also shown in video

  16. cool8man September 11th, 2010 9:48 am

    Not sure if it’s worth giving up webOS for this device. The Evo hardware is much better than the Pre, but I think webOS is still significantly better than Android. Sounds like you have the same feelings, let us know how you feel about Pre vs. Evo in a future video please.

    I am really on the fence about the Evo. I want that fast web browser, but I also want webOS UI.

  24. tymptme2 September 11th, 2010 1:50 pm

    at :18…are all of those ‘cards’ widgets or separate applications? I’m trying to find out does this phone have capability to mulittask almost like the Pre. Maybe you can’t slide through to see different apps, but I would be ok with being able to see them all on one page and choose which one I want.

  25. waldo94591 September 11th, 2010 2:21 pm

    if you turn off sense will you still be able to use the HTC widgets ?
