    Very awesome! I use Flash / ActionScript everyday and wish I could incorporate it like you did in Live. If only… IF ONLY…. everyone had live installed on their computers, this would make it so much easier to add real-time audio effects like reverb, delays, and pitch changes.
    It’s possible to do these things within Flash with the Sample_Data event for Sound objects, but I mean… come on… Live does it so much better and CPU efficiently!
    Again, very neat setup! Would love a list of APIs used

    whats an ableton live, and how does it compare to other mixing software or music software llke garageband and other stuff

    Sending OSC from flash is impressive, not that simple. I see you used flosc, I’ll have to check that one out.

    I once built an app that received OSC from Reactivision, sent OSC over to PD that translated it to Midi for Ableton live, but it was in processing exactly because flash was so difficult on the OSC side…

    Sending midi to ableton live is still my favourite way of working for audio though. So easy and quick to change your sounds.

    hey this is cool. does anyone know if you can go the oposite way? basicaly i want to use a midi keyboard to controle flash. any ideas?!

    Nice, you should checkout out Just Add Music, QC to Ableton live application we built, never thought about adding flash to the mix . youcanbespecialtoo(dot)com
