NuVJ 1.5 problem involving Quicktime movies

Serious NuVJ problem involving Quicktime movies. Using a codec other than Photo-JPEG causes the projector screen to go berzerk (although it’s difficult to tell in this video). This computer uses an NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GS card. Please let me know if you’ve experienced this problem. I’ve started a thread on the issue here: forum.arkaos.net

Dont use HD MOV’s or photo-jpeg… convert all your videos at the same format and codec, if you have MOV whith AVI whith MPEG… dont mix it on one chanel, choose one forma and one codec for all video loops ;)

stick to photo jpeg codec’s. i personally think that screen feedback is pretty damn cool but the black probly isn’t too great unfortunately. “hotswaps”, which i’m interpreting as if you replace one cell’s movie with another movie (reassigning a cell’s video)seems to be my typical cause of crash. much more likely if i m using longer clips, or non photo jpg codec

aargh, that sucks and I have to perform tomorrow with the NuVJ!
I think you have to use Photo JPEG only but the quality of that codec is really bad when exporting from After Effects or Premiere. I’ve also tried DV clips but NuVJ crashes when using more than 3 full banks…. Any suggestions?

If the clips are in high Definition, is it an HD projector? Don’t take my 100% word, but I’m pretty sure that you have to get an HD projector… As for the video getting choppy, I have no idea. Maybe your computer has too much on it?
