So would the Timcoded CD work as a normal CD in Absolute Mode! Like if i start a new tune in Serato, all the track information is displayed on the CDJ’s display and there’s no need to re-insert the CD?

These are not tutorials; they are marketing vids. He is describing the features but not informing how to activate them.

In relative mode, can you do vinyl select? Also if serato fails on me, I’d probably hook up my ipod to the aux input.

Q: can you use scrach live in a hybrid set up, also using real vinyl. Like in torq

i really like having a hybrid setup but torq’s software & interface doesn’t really do it for me

The only difference. Is you can’t track drop and at any place on the record. You can either spin the record forward to find the spot you’re looking for, or you can set the part you want to go to, drop the needle anywhere on the record, and you’re at that spot.. it’s a sick program. First one that does what a vinyl dj would want. It’s the new wave of mixing records. (Mixing records without having to lug around 500 records.. major plus)

  18. oli3659 July 29th, 2010 7:45 am

you know he was on about the ‘modes’ isnt there just a normal mode so it goes through the track and if you move the needle it goes to different part of track like normal vinyl?

i only use internal haha annoying thing is that i only have computer w/ me and no turntable (it broke) so i have to use mouse and for some reason the shortcuts dont work
