Irene tells him that no matter how far they go there will still be the problem of Lou’s wife. Lou tells Irene to forget her, he wants to be happy and he wants to be happy now. That means being with Irene. Irene asks Belle to take a walk with her on the beach, where she tells Belle of Lou’s offer. Belle accepts, despite the fact she’s looking very strung out. She is determined to tell Irene about her drug problem. When Irene tells Belle about the trip and asks her if she could cope if she went Belle realises she can’t ruin Irene’s happiness. Adding to the pressure is Irene’s hope that Belle will look after Geoff and Annie. After talking to Leah and Roman about the diner, and Annie and Geoff, Irene announces she will be going on the trip. Everyone is ecstatic except Belle who is really struggling to keep it together. As Irene and Lou set sail we see a woman watching them, it’s Donna (Lou’s soon to be ex wife). Just what does she have in store for our lovers? Back at the Beach House, Annie and Geoff discuss life without Irene and Belle’s despondence, which they put down to trouble with Aden.
