Line 6 UX1 + POD Farm. Ableton Live Lite 7 Video Review

I’ll let the tones do the talking – it’s easier than a review really. I bought the UX1 as a preamp. Although the POD Farm software isn’t something I like or will be using I thought I’d put this together in case anyone is interested. As a first time recording solution I think it’s great – the tones should be alright for most people new to guitar playing too. The software has hundreds of presets modelled on famous songs/guitarists. Some are okay, many suck ass, and some (Bohemian Rhapsody) are so bad, I don’t even know of the words to describe them. The clean tones are generally quite good though. This is a vid I put together in under an hour so there’s been no tweaking, the tone you hear comes straight from the Line6. You can pick one up for about £100. Ah, the presets used were (in order): All Right Now (for Back in Black too) Master Of Puppets Bohemian Rhapsody/Travesty Ain’t Talkin’ ‘Bout Love Eruption Surfing With The Alien Enter Sandman (also fairly vile) Jazz Clean (used for The Unforgiven clean solo) The Unforgiven Fire It Up (used for all the Black Label stuff, took the wah off) Pull Me Under (clean tone, used it for Andy Timmons instead) Crazy Train Enjoy! \m/
