an extra video in addition to the previous staticly filmed projection. this one contains some closeups and different angles to show some more detail. Unfortenately the hd footage i had is not suitable cause it is blurry & overexposed with every flash from the projection. The beamer moved a bit during these shots so there is some slight dis-allignment.

After two demolitions on the hurva synagogue in the old city of jerusalem Israel, The synagogue rose for the 3rd time on March 15th 2010, Celebration was necessary and that is why this piece was created. 12 minutes of animation explaining the history of this building with light video art that doesn’t upset.

This was a really wonderful project. Because MasaruOzaki was the first attempt in the world at video projection in this building. 12K three PanasonicHD projectors are stacked in projection. Masaru Ozaki designed animation and CG directly in the building that Kenzo Tange had designed.
