“Yoyogi National Stadium” Video Projection by Masaru Ozaki
This was a really wonderful project. Because MasaruOzaki was the first attempt in the world at video projection in this building. 12K three PanasonicHD projectors are stacked in projection. Masaru Ozaki designed animation and CG directly in the building that Kenzo Tange had designed. The project was commissioned by one of our clients, HPFRANCE, who are great to work with and really creative. Copyright © 2008-2009 Masaru Ozaki. VJMASARU.

555 KUBIK “How it would be, if a house was dreaming” The conception of this project consistently derives from its underlying architecture – the theoretic conception and visual pattern of the Hamburg Kunsthalle. The Basic idea of narration was to dissolve and break through the strict architecture of OM Ungers “Galerie der Gegenwart”. Resultant permeability of the solid facade uncovers different interpretations of conception, geometry and aesthetics expressed through graphics and movement. A situation of reflexivity evolves – describing the constitution and spacious perception of this location by means of the building itself. This is a collaborative effort between myself and Joao Beira at Art Outside 2010. I welded the sculpture and constructed the stand and Joao projected live animation onto it using Modul8 software. We had an amazing time and can’t wait for next year! Music: Come On My Selector by Squarepusher
