@orochicc002 Win XP is archaic… That is like complaining that a Ford Model T does not have airbags… or a seat belt for that matter. Get a modern OS… No money? No problem… Get Ubuntu.

i think chome OS better suit in some device like IPAD or phone but not in computer. its wasting of the resource.
what if i go to some area which is no public wifi supported ? i think we still havent reach the computer surviving without hard disk =x

Nice idea.
But for someone like me who wants to use Flash, DreamWeaver, PhotoShop, have files stored on my hard disk so that I can access them even if I’m not online, this is not the OS for me.
But who knows, maybe in the future Adobe Creative Suite will turn into a web-based application.
Anywho, thanks for the very informative vid about what Chrome OS is, and I’m sure it’s perfect for some.

and also one thing ,you can do things with windows or mac without the internet , this one if theres no internet, its a piece of crap got it ? how old are by the way ? may ber your 6

i dont like it cuz you cant save files to you pc like windows or mac do , and besides this os depends on the internet, which is means if you have a slow internet connection and your listening to music , what would be the result ? … think about it ? .. you cant even save files like movies, softwares, cant even edit video, pictures, files , music etc . IF ONLY INTERNET IS FREE , i would change my mind .got it ?

hang on! what if you are not connected to the internet. Can you still access all your documents. maybe i am assuming its stored in cache and syncs up when you connect.

@pcfreak1992 Im not exactly sure how to check it on Ubuntu. All i know is that I have a Intel Pentium Duel Core.
So does this mean you cant download programs or play games?
Sorry, but I just think its genius. Not as your only computer, but let’s say you have your PC (Mac) at home, you upload all of your documents on the internet (or you make your pc a server), and then when you go to school or to work you can just acces and change them, always.

@summercool3 Thats right Google, Microsoft, Apple live in this dream world where they have computers setup to be basically useless without the net. Or when I goto the outback of NZ and all they have is dialup. These big companies are dreaming up ways of how to keep all your info in a cloud but the reality of the internet is that it just aint quick enough for it to be that useful.
So with this program, does it mean that if your computer wasn’t connected to the internet you’d have no access to ANY files?!
Disconnecting from the internet is annoying enough…
