VDJ is a decent program. It has its place. It can do video, which is something serato can do only with the TTM57SL mixer for now.

True, And the other thing. What if someone spills a drink on your laptop? then your TOTALLY fucked.

I still love this technology though, utter genius.

The point is, Dont let people spill drinks on your shit. Its never a good thing.

Yeah I’m sure you would. But its hardly gonna make your laptop work. And if you were gigging at the time you’d pretty much have to call it a night.

do you know if Serato Scratch Live will work on the Gemsound CDM-150?

if it doesn’t
is there anything I can buy to make it work?

Well i’m not sure about this thing. I just looked up a video on it there.

From what it looks like its its got a mixer built in. One thing that you’ll need in this case is two outputs from the two separate cd players on board. These would be pluged into the serato sound interface. And then you’d need a means of plugging the outputs on the sound interface into the mixer on your unit with the sound from serato on your laptop.

see, this is the problem today. THIS guy is your “average d.j.” today. where is the funk,the soul,the street cred? i just dont get it. i go to club after club and i see ppl leaving? what has happened to the ‘funky dj’? where are the REAL live funky dj’s of old? the kinda guys/gals that would make you cry at your own wedding? what has happened to todays deejays!? all internet programming? i think so. bring real vinyl back
